AkzoNobel has recently managed to successfully deliver critical International Paint for the construction of quarantine facilities in Hong Kong.
Over 5,000 tonnes of anti-corrosive protective coating were safely delivered to the quarantine facilities. The sustainable, low VOC coating will protect the facility’s steel structure for the next 15 years, even during harsh weather conditions. In addition, the product selected is compliant with Hong Kong’s strict environmental standards.
With colleagues’ safety at the heart of the operation, the AkzoNobel China team collaborated to deliver the product in full within the agreed time, without compromising the safety of its team, in keeping with the government’s safeguarding rules.
