PPG has announced an agreement to acquire Illinois-based Alpha Coating Technologies, manufacturer of powder coatings for light industrial applications and heat sensitive substrates. The acquisition should close in the first quarter of 2020.
Alpha was founded in 2000 and focuses on powder coatings for light industrial applications including medium density fiberboard and heat sensitive substrates, and metal.
