Sherwin-Williams has secured a further contract working on a major landmark development in London for the project London Wall Place.
This follows projects for iconic buildings including The Shard, The Leadenhall Building, Tower Bridge, St Pancreas Station, Heathrow and the Olympic Park.
For this project, Sherwin-Williams Protective and Marine Coatings Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) will provide Epigrip C400V3 multi-functional epoxy zinc phosphate coating, FIRETEX FX2003 intumescent coating, FIRETEX M95 epoxy intumescent coating, FIRETEX M71V2, Resistex C137V2 special finish and Resistex C237 sheen finish.
Rick Perkins, FIRETEX Project Development Manager for Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said: “This is another iconic project that requires the very highest levels of quality products, and we will be working closely with our partners to ensure the very best in protection for the future.”

The London Wall Place development is a 500,000 sq ft destination that will provide two landmark commercial buildings and an acre of landscaped public realm.
The new open space will create a unique destination for the area through a series of new gardens set amongst historic landmarks including the Roman City Wall and St Alphage Church Tower ruins. The site extends for over two acres and is located on London Wall between Moorgate and the Barbican.

A unique feature of the London Wall Place project will be the reinstated walkway structures, or highwalks, that will cross the site to re-establish links to other parts of the City’s high-level walkways. Seven walkway structures fabricated from weathering steel will be installed as part of William Hare’s steel package.
